Yes, I'm still... Alive?

Hello friends :)

This is just a snap shot of just one of my many costumes we put together for what my friends and I call our *Two Weeks of Halloween* which is filled with two weeks of different costumes and going out in our group themed costumes.

Although Halloween has a ton of cute, sexy --- oh and slut-o-rific outfits [you know what I'm talking about ;P], we tend to go for home made costumes like the above.

I have a ton of pics I'd like to share... So maybe I'll make another post when I'm done! [yeah, probably not... haha sorry - just trying to be realistic here --- but I do have more pictures and stories to share]

Hope you all are well -- 'Til next time!!!

Duckie ^_^

So... with all of the crazy storms that have been forming, heading in the direction of Florida, but then doing somthing funky and switching its path.... we've had some funky rain patterns. Usually, it will rain a little some time between 2pm and 4pm either with the sky being all pretty and the sun still out-- or the sky being all gray and yuckie...

Well, I always seem to get caught in the rain.... and I don't ever have enough time to dry my hair between errands and classes so I've been getting sick :(

Right now I'm sneezing all over the place and I've gone through two and a half boxes of tissues this past week... NOT cool :[
Well, at least the duckie enjoys the aftermath of the rainy days :]

I'm gonna go wrap myself up in my bed...

Til next time....

6 Classes = 18 Credit Hours!!!!

Yes, school is kicking my BUTT!

I JUST started classes a few weeks ago and I'm ready to get this over with!!!

I find time for myself outside of my school work by taking these mini adventures with my friend[s] when ever possible! Which is usually once a week ^_^

I run off to my favorite *secret locations* and just enjoy all that is around me. The guitar is usually brought out as well as paints and or drawing utensils.

^_^ Good times ^_^

That's all for now :P

Hope you all are doing well!

I'm Back With Gifts!

::My Fav Picture Of The Night::

Yeah I know... I did it again- but I'm back with pictures! Doesn't that make up for all the time I was gone? No? Hmm... Well I'm sorry for staying away for so long... I'm now nearing the end of my *summer vacation* and I'm no longer in NY- I'm back in FL now. My trip back to NY was my chance to let go and enjoy the *City Life* once again with old and new friends. I had the chance to be worry-free about my school work, exams, GPA and crazy professors... I also had a chance to get away from home where all I do is cook, clean and take care of the kids-- the kids being my baby cousins, nieces, nephews, friend's kids and the "big kids" that I live with...

While in NY, I spent most of my days/nights walking and hanging out around Time Square, Broadway, Union Square, Church/Nostrand and just about anywhere else that I could find little stores to get fun and *different* items from. A lot of the time I just took time to enjoy and appreciate all that was going on around me. I took the subway just about everywhere and the bus when I HAD to... $2 each way sounds pretty good to me which is why I didn't take any taxis unless it was a "Dollar Van/Cab" which is really a $2 Van/Cab now since gas prices went up- but I only found those kind of $2 rides in certain areas in Brooklyn so I stuck to the subway when going anywhere else.

I went to the Puerto Rican Festival but not the parade for the first time-- I mean, I usually have more fun at the festival anyway-- more interaction with the people, good foods and drinks EVERYWHERE, free stuff, nice things to buy, TONS of music, beautiful people, more dancing and the best part- more FREEDOM to move around! At the parade, if you are trying to meet up with people you better choose a side of the street because if they are on one side and you are on the other, you have to go to hell and back to get to them. Everything is blocked off for the parade so the cops don't let any one just go anywhere-- plus, the parade starts SOOOO early! After all the partying that is done the night before after the festival, waking up for the parade around 10ish is no fun lol plus, you have to party again the night of the parade so yeah. I just slept in during the parade... and did the party/bar hop that night ^_^
*Good Times*

Pride week was a blast too-- no pictures from that one though... but thats another story why... Anywho, Pride week and the parade was SOOOO much fun! I had met some guys and gals who were going to be taking part in the parade and other festivities during the week at clubs and little events--- and long story short, they invited me and three other friends to come take part and help them out. Now the funny thing is how the guy broke me and my friends down to one of his friends on the phone:

"okay, so we have four more on the team... yup, and the are hot... mhmm, like FIRE!!! This is gonna be so damn much... one is gay, one is a lez, one is bi and the other is straight... nope I already asked... haha yeah, we'll work on making her at least bi-curious by the end of the night..."

Yeah... were you able to pick out which one was me? :P well, they failed at making me "at least bi-curious".... but it was funny and I had a very good time! During pride week I got to work at three clubs, help run mini events and sell stuff at events. I also got to help with hair and make-up for the parade! It was soooo busy but it was VERY fun ^_^

Darn... I've got to get going... I'll come back and visit your pages ASAP! Oh, and the pictures are from the 4th of July ^_^ I had fun with the *fireworks* setting on my cam ^_^

I'll be back...

Look What I Got!

Willie made a post titled Garden where said:

"comment number 111 gets a drawing done of them, but no commenting more than twice!"

Well, I ended up being comment number 97 or 98 and said:

"oh wow! so pretty! i know which flower i am ^_^ i sure wish this was comment number 111... :( maybe next time ^_^"

Funny thing, when I went by his page again just to see who had won, I saw that it said he had 110 comments on his last post. I got all happy and refreshed the page and all just to make sure that number was correct. I was so excited when I clicked to make comment number 111 that all I could say was:

"yay!"

After sharing pictures and details about myself so that he could get a better idea about who I am, he put my drawing together!

So, here is the REALLY AWESOME drawing of yours truly-- ME!

Don't you love it?!?!?!

I know I do ^_^ I've never had anything like this done for me so its a keeper- I even printed it out and now its on my wall :)

Is that a little much? Naaaaahhh, I don't think so. I'm not really one to win much of anything and trust me- I've tried. So sorry if I seem to be a little too excited... but this is AWESOME! ^_^

Thanks again Willie!!!!

Thank Someone

Mom put down the paper
Just to help me find my shoes
Kim likes chocolate doughnuts
So her cousin gave her two
And Grandpa played with Julio
He took him to the park
If you forgot to thank someone
Say thank you in the dark

Thank the moon
Thank the sun
Most of all thank someone
Like the stars high above
One for everyone you love

Richard taught a funny song
To Jack and Eleanor
Ed brought Andy comics
When he had to stay indoors
And Mrs. Rose helped Dana
When she waded out too deep
If you forgot to thank someone
Say thank you in your sleep

Thank the moon
Thank the sun
Most of all thank someone
Like the stars high above
One for everyone you love

Friends are like a family
Families are like friends
All the world's your family
The chain will never end
When the night is lonely
And you're feeling miles apart
If you forgot to thank someone
Say thank you in your heart

Thank the moon (thank the moon)
Thank the sun (thank the sun)
Most of all thank someone (thank someone)
Like the stars high above
One for everyone you love

Thank the moon (thank the moon)
Thank the sun (thank the sun)
Most of all thank someone (I think you better thank someone)
Like the stars high above
One for everyone you love

Beach Post For Michael and Friends :)

I went on a beach trip with about eight friends. It was REALLY nice out. The sun was bright and- not HOT- but warm enough to make my skin tingle. There was a light breese that didn't trouble the water to much in fact, the water was very nice-- and it wasn't very cold either- it was so refreshing!

I can still smell it too- all of it... the sun, water, sand & BBQ!

Okay, so only a few pictures were taken and that was while my friends and I were in the room... we left our cameras upstairs... I guess we were all a bit too excited to hit the beach :\

Neat-O window view-- I like it ^_^

So anyway, I woke up to the above view and got really excited. I got ready and called up my friends who got put in another room. And told them to get ready to have some 'fun in the sun'
Me at the window calling up my friends

We ended up playing volleyball for a while and swimming around for a bit. Then we decided it would be best to stay out of the water for a while after my friend said they'd seen "something in the water" which could have been anything- but I think its better to be safe than lose an arm-- I mean... better to be safe- than sorry ;)
This one was taken right before we left-- thank God for the ZOOM button!

I did a little water skiing- which I hadn't done in a LONG time, but it was SO much fun. I taught one of my girlfriends how to get up on the skis and she was doing great 'till she lost part of her swim wear...

::laughing::

I really thought that kinda thing only happened in movies or in books! It was funny and now she has a great story to tell.
This one was taken once I opened the window.

Then there was the part where this same girl, who loves to tan (yikes...), just oiled up and one of our other friends opened a crunched up bag of chips. And yes, he was fighting to open this bag of chips and ripped it all the way open-- just in time for the wind to catch it and blow it onto my nicely oiled up friends skin. Now as if that wasn't bad enough, down came the birds trying to eat the chips from my friend's body.

::laughing again::

So get this, she is flapping around and screeching while the birds are flapping around and screeching and the rest of us can't do more than a rolling motion on the ground while we all nearly die from laughter.

Another great story to share ^_^

*Good Times*

Anywho... So sorry I couldn't get more pictures of the beach-- or of my friend and her mishaps :P

I'd do better next time around :)
