So for my friend- and anyone else who believes pineapples grow on trees:
There is proof. Pineapples don't grow on trees. Is it because 'apple' is in its name why one might believe they grow from trees? Hmmm....
Just a quick post. I took a bunch of pictures today- so I should have more things to post about soon ^_^

I knew it! I need to go laugh and point in a friend's face now.
Hehe ^_^ Silly Grunt Man...
Try not to make them cry too hard- okay? Or else you'll lose a friend to laugh and point at :P

Glad you posted this. Long discussion with my significant other. Glad to be right on occasion. Not that I will show her, but it is nice to be right.
I remember seeing lots and lots of pineapples growing in Hawaii once. That's how I knew already that these fruits didn't grow on trees. And, oh, how sweet and special the flavor was of a freshly picked pineapple - so different from what one gets from the can, or from the pineapple bought in a store. You, lucky one, probably can describe firsthand the delicious flavor.
they even took us thru a damned pineapple ORCHARD in Hawaii to prove it to us! to start us out tho, they had built FAKE trees in the entrance that had pineapples hanging from them....
MEANIES!
Hey, sweet shooting girl. thanks for pointing out the fix needed on my other site too! you should be able to view the latest Comic now...

New to me. Thanks for the education.
Thanks for commenting on my writing. I'm sure you can appreciate how useful meaningful feedback can be, but, for the record, I'm really not an angry person. I enjoyed reading from your blog and I love the diversity of your writing, it makes for good reading. I will certainly return in the future to see what you produce.
ooooo I could easily be your friend, since I didnt know this hihihi :D
mmmmm I have missed soooooooo many wonderful posts (not to mention so many blogs hehe), I will need days to read all of them hehehe :)
aaaaa Hawaii is on my list, when the big trip starts ;)
No problem, Timmy. This is so funny to me since I figured my friend was the only one who didn't know there was no such thing as a [real] pineapple tree.
It's alright, Markis. I took a little break not too long ago and I'm making plans to take another soon. About pineapples: you know it’s ready to pick when it's more yellowish than greenish. That’s how you know it’s ripe- plus, it actually smells like a pineapple instead of some regular green plant. And it doesn’t need any more or less water than the average plant. I've never had a Piña Colada :\ I'll be sure to try that one day.
To my new friend, welcome. And no worries, I was just pulling your leg. I left you a little note, be sure to check that out.
Yay! Dia! Your back! Thanks for stopping by :) Missed your energy.
Thanks for the comments all ^_^
Work Verification: ocornie (hehe)

I'm quite relieved to find this out....I think it would hurt like an SOB if a pineapple fell from a tree onto my head.
Hehe ^_^ nice one, Dave. It hurts pretty badly if you touch the leaves. They are razor sharp!
Just a note:
I'm going to be a little busy tomorrow, but I'll try and get a new post in.

I want to make someone sit on that.No I am not a sadist but i think it will be funny.
Hey Dave here from Global Geek Podcast. Looked for another way to contact you but could not find an email or anything so a comment it is.
Just wanted to let you know that we really appreciate the link that you put on your blog to Global Geek Podcast! I just posted Show number 5, enjoy it and thanks again.
Dave
Vathsan, after reading your first sentence, sadist was the first thing that came to mind :P
Not a problem, Dave. [I guess you were looking for links to your sites?] Thanks for telling me about the update and for stopping by ^_^

Yes, I too, once thought pineapples grew on trees. I know you're shocked right now 'cause Brent is always with it. At one time, though, he did not know everything. AH! What a crazy world that was. Regards!
::gasp::
The Great Brent had a time where he did not know everything?!?!
hehe :P
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks
Have just travelled through Exuma and Long Island in the Bahamas where I am told there are numerous wild Pineapple growing.
Had lots to drink but no Pineapple sightings so since I only saw them driving by a Florida plantation at 75mph thought I would look on web.
Very good picture.
