Told Ya So!

...I wish my pineapples would hurry up and grow.
You're growing pineapples there too?
Yup.
Wow! How tall is your tree?
Which tree?
Your pineapple tree.
Pineapple tree?!?! Pineapples don't grown on trees! ::giggles::
Yes-huh

Nuh-uhh
Yes-huh...

* * *

So for my friend- and anyone else who believes pineapples grow on trees:

There is proof. Pineapples don't grow on trees. Is it because 'apple' is in its name why one might believe they grow from trees? Hmmm....

Just a quick post. I took a bunch of pictures today- so I should have more things to post about soon ^_^

I remember seeing lots and lots of pineapples growing in Hawaii once. That's how I knew already that these fruits didn't grow on trees. And, oh, how sweet and special the flavor was of a freshly picked pineapple - so different from what one gets from the can, or from the pineapple bought in a store. You, lucky one, probably can describe firsthand the delicious flavor.

No problem, Timmy. This is so funny to me since I figured my friend was the only one who didn't know there was no such thing as a [real] pineapple tree.

It's alright, Markis. I took a little break not too long ago and I'm making plans to take another soon. About pineapples: you know it’s ready to pick when it's more yellowish than greenish. That’s how you know it’s ripe- plus, it actually smells like a pineapple instead of some regular green plant. And it doesn’t need any more or less water than the average plant. I've never had a Piña Colada :\ I'll be sure to try that one day.

To my new friend, welcome. And no worries, I was just pulling your leg. I left you a little note, be sure to check that out.

Yay! Dia! Your back! Thanks for stopping by :) Missed your energy.

Thanks for the comments all ^_^

I'm quite relieved to find this out....I think it would hurt like an SOB if a pineapple fell from a tree onto my head.

Hehe ^_^ nice one, Dave. It hurts pretty badly if you touch the leaves. They are razor sharp!

Just a note:
I'm going to be a little busy tomorrow, but I'll try and get a new post in.

Yes, I too, once thought pineapples grew on trees. I know you're shocked right now 'cause Brent is always with it. At one time, though, he did not know everything. AH! What a crazy world that was. Regards!

Thanks

Have just travelled through Exuma and Long Island in the Bahamas where I am told there are numerous wild Pineapple growing.

Had lots to drink but no Pineapple sightings so since I only saw them driving by a Florida plantation at 75mph thought I would look on web.

Very good picture.
